Road Map Series Training Programs

Team Up for Families (TUFF) offers professional certification and continuing education training to family/peer support partners, social workers, case managers, counselors, school staff, and advocates through the Family Road Map Institute.

TUFF/Family Road Map Institute offers these Road Map Series training programs:

  1. Two-Day Facilitator Certification Training provides skills for one-on-one instruction and small group/workshop leadership with instructional aids and TUFF/FRMI National Learning Collaborative benefits.
  2. One-Day Coach Certification Training provides skills for one-on-one instruction with instructional aids and TUFF/FRMI National Learning Collaborative benefits.
  3. Three-hour “Start Here, Get There” Strategy Training provides skills and instructional aids for mentoring families/young adults to communicate strengths, needs, and concerns effectively in IEP meetings and provider appointments. (Offered as e-/earning; on-site classroom format offered to agencies and conferences on request.)
  4. Master Training is an advanced train-the-trainer curriculum for individual leaders in agencies and organizations to promote program sustainability.
